The Office of the Global President of World Innovators University (WIU®) is pleased to announce the appointment of two distinguished scholars to pivotal leadership roles, further strengthening our commitment to academic excellence and global innovation.

Appointment of Prof. Dr. Gangadhar P. Joshi as Chancellor

Following a comprehensive selection process and with the endorsement of the Board of Regents, it is our privilege to appoint Prof. Dr. Gangadhar Parshuram Joshi as the First Chancellor of World Innovators University®. Prof. Dr. Joshi, an esteemed Professor of Practice in Business Management, brings decades of academic and professional distinction to this honorary position.

In his role as Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Joshi will serve as the ceremonial head of WIU®, representing World Innovators University® at formal occasions and upholding the institution’s values at national and international forums. His duties will include presiding over major events such as graduation ceremonies, conferring awards and innovative qualifications, and acting as an ambassador to enhance World Innovators University®’s reputation globally. Prof. Dr. Joshi’s profound commitment to innovation and his distinguished career in academia make him an ideal leader for this prestigious role.

Appointment of Prof. Dr. Sourabh K. Jain as Dean, Academics and Knowledge Management

We are also honored to announce the appointment of Prof. Dr. Sourabh K. Jain as Dean, Academics and Knowledge Management. With a demonstrated history of academic leadership and expertise in fostering knowledge-driven educational practices, Prof. Dr. Jain will oversee World Innovators University®’s academic affairs and knowledge management strategies. His responsibilities will encompass curriculum development, faculty mentorship, academic quality assurance, and the integration of advanced knowledge resources and technologies.

As Dean, Prof. Dr. Jain will work closely with faculty members, academic leaders, the Registrar and the Provost to maintain and enhance WIU®’s academic standards, ensuring that our programs remain aligned with global standards and industry needs. His contributions will play a crucial role in advancing World Innovators University®’s mission of excellence in teaching, research, and knowledge dissemination.

Effective Dates

The appointments of Prof. Dr. Gangadhar P. Joshi as Chancellor and Prof. Dr. Sourabh K. Jain as Dean, Academics and Knowledge Management, is with effect from Monday, 28 October, 2024. These appointments reflect World Innovators University®’s dedication to fostering leadership that supports our vision of innovative education and sustainable societal impact.
