Call for Nominations: World Innovators University (WIU®) Doctor of Innovation (Honoris Causa) – June 2025 Cohort
The World Innovators University (WIU®) is pleased to announce the call for nominations for the Doctor of Innovation (Honoris Causa), a prestigious honorary doctorate awarded to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional contributions to innovation, creativity, and societal advancement.
This distinguished honor is reserved for trailblazers whose work has redefined excellence in their fields, made significant global or regional impacts, and inspired innovation-driven progress in society.
Nomination Deadline: March 31, 2025
Award Ceremony Date: June 2025
Eligibility Criteria
Nominees must meet the following criteria:
- Exceptional Contributions: Demonstrated outstanding achievements in innovation, creativity, or leadership that have positively impacted their field or society.
- Global or Regional Impact: Proven influence on global or regional development through innovative solutions, initiatives, or advancements.
- Recognition and Excellence: Recognized for excellence through awards, patents, publications, or significant professional milestones.
- Ethical Leadership: Embodied integrity, ethical conduct, and dedication to societal improvement.
Note: WIU® welcomes nominations from all sectors, including academia, industry, government, and civil society, regardless of the nominee’s nationality, gender, or professional background.
Nomination Guidelines
Nominations must be submitted by individuals or organizations who can provide comprehensive information about the nominee’s achievements and qualifications.

Selection Process
The Honorary Doctorate Selection Committee at WIU® will rigorously review all nominations based on merit, impact, and alignment with the values of innovation and societal advancement. Successful nominees will be invited to the conferment ceremony in June 2025.
